Shooting Rubys have been dubbed the "Wilco" of the North  and "Blue Rodeo's kid brothers on trucker speed”. No matter what your musical pallet and range... there's a song on Shooting Rubys' "Mood Swings and Cravings" that will please. Just slap it in the deck and play it with the top down. Shooting Rubys have created a Alternative Pop / Rhythm Rock / Americana sound using melody, mature arrangements and vocal harmonies. Each member sharing in the song writing and singing, bringing together four separate voices, letting each track stand on it's own. To date, Shooting Rubys have collaborated on over 50 songs with a wide variety of distinctive styles. Always evolving, always diverse. Sliding easily from up-tempo guitar twang to mellow acoustic strumming, to a hard edge crunch. 

A long collective history of stage experience, playing in various bands and projects has contributed to giving the band a great versatility and confident stage show.

Portant un nom qui semble pigé d’une liste de chevaux d’une course du «Kentuky Derby», cette formation travail effectivement comme des chevaux.Suivant le lancement de leur premier enregistrement «MoodSwings and Cravings», ils peuvent être perçus gagnant les cœurs des auditoires dans les clubs populaires de la côte est. Avec de nombreux spectacles à suivre à Québec, Vermont, Boston, New Hampshire et New York.

«ShootingRubys» ont créé un son pop-alternatif / rock en utilisant mélodies, arrangement matures et de fortes harmonies vocales. Chaque membre participe à la création de chanson et à l’interprétation. Rassemblant quatre voix distinctes dans un son unique et frappant. «Mood Swings and Cravings» de la formation «Shooting Rubys» est non-seulement disponible en Amérique du Nord mais maintenant aussi en Scandinavie, distribué par la compagnie Dusty Records en Suède. Quelques articles et critiques favorables dans les revues de musique Britanniques ont gagné l’attention des distributeurs et du grand publique outre-mer. «Shooting Rubys» ce trouvent depuis au top cinq de certains palmarès de plusieurs station collegiales au travers le Canada, les É.U. mais aussi a des endroits plus exotiques tels que la Belgique, la Yougoslavie, la Hollande et l’Espagne.
